Explore Santiago’s cultural and historical heritage, crowned by a visit to “La Chascona,” the former home of the beloved Pablo Neruda. Find fresh ingredients at Santiago’s main produce and fish markets and prepare traditional Chilean dishes alongside a chef.

Visit Kingston Family Vineyards in the Casablanca Valley, known for its award-winning whites and for pioneering new wave artisan reds. Continue on to the colorful port city of Valparaíso for lunch and an funicular ride overlooking the sparkling bay below.

Start the journey south with a stop in the Maipo Valley, a region heavily influenced by French winemaking traditions. Sample the exquisite wines of Aquitania before moving on to Altair in the Cachapoal Valley for an afternoon to remember.

Rediscover Carménère at Casa Silva, the oldest winery in the Colchagua Valley. Spend the afternoon perusing one of the most exhaustive and storied private collections of pre-Columbian art and artifacts in all of South America at the Museo de Colchagua.

For red wine lovers, a visit to the Colchagua Valley is imperative. Sip Neyen de Apalta’s signature Boreaux-style blend, sit down for a lunch at family-run Viu Manent and admire the vertically stacked cellars and bottling plant of Casa Lapostolle.

Return to Santiago to hop on board a flight across the Andes to Mendoza. Check in to your hotel and tour the small, provincial city before enjoying a leisurely evening in town.

Today is all about the new frontier in Argentina winemaking, the spectacular, high-altitude Valle de Uco situated in the foothills of the snow-capped Andes. Visit the world famous Domaine Bousquet to try their organic wines, followed by tastings at the distinctive La Azul and Andeluna wineries.

Venture southward to a more traditional wine region, Lujan de Cuyo, home to many of the nation’s top wineries and finest Malbec. Visit a handful of wineries to get a sense of the prestige and innovation found in the area, including a private tasting at Domaine St. Diego.

Catch a morning flight to Buenos Aires. Get to know the city and its distinctive “Porteño” personality on an exclusive tour of its parks and plazas, and use the free evening to explore further on your own.

Continue exploring Buenos Aires at your own pace, choosing between a hike or bike excursion to the city’s Reserva Ecológica, a world-class shopping spree or a stroll through Palermo’s boutique galleries. Experience one of Argentina’s most emblematic traditions at an authentic tango dinner show.
