01

Bienvenido. Welcome to Chile.

Your adventure begins in the cosmopolitan and energetic city of Santiago, where you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The day is free to spend at your leisure exploring the city, its museums, lush parks, and vibrant gastronomy scene. If you have time, we recommend visiting Cerro San Cristobal for stunning views of the skyline, flanked by the impressive Andes

San Pedro de Atacama.

Today begins your adventure in the Atacama Desert- the highest and driest desert in the world.

After breakfast, a private transfer will take you to Santiago Airport for your flight north to Calama. After arriving at the airport, you’ll be whisked away to Explora Atacama by the hotel’s transfer service. Sit back and enjoy the scenic drive through spectacular desert scenery. Keep an eye out for wildlife like guanacos along the way.

Arrive in time for lunch, and an afternoon excursion.

03-05

San Pedro de Atacama.

You will have three full days to enjoy the wonderful selection of excursions offered at Explora Atacama.

The lodge offers a unique way to explore the area, blending deep exploration with a touch of luxury and comfort. Choose from a range of full-day or half-day excursions to discover otherworldly valleys, strikingly beautiful high-altitude lagoons, erupting geysers, towering volcanoes, hot springs, and eerie salt flats, while at night you can marvel at the wonders of one of the clearest night skies on Earth.

Chile’s Lake District

Today we travel south to Chile’s scenic Lake District, the gateway to Patagonia, characterised by snow-capped volcanoes, ancient forests, pristine lakes and rivers, hot springs, and waterfalls.

Fly from Calama to Puerto Montt (via Santiago). Upon arrival, you will be met by a transfer and taken to AWA hotel perched along the sparkling shoreline of Lake Llanquihue, just outside of Puerto Varas.

Arrive in time to enjoy an afternoon excursion and dinner at AWA.

Chile’s Lake District

 Enjoy two full days of wonderful private excursions at Hotel AWA to discover the perfect blend of adventure, culture, and natural beauty.

Chile’s Lake District is a paradise for adventurous travellers, offering a wealth of outdoor activities like trekking, biking, horse riding, kayaking, and rafting. Immerse yourself in the vibrant Mapuche culture through traditional folklore, handcrafts, and legends. 

 Explore charming German towns such as Puerto Varas, Frutillar, and Puerto Octay, each with its own unique character. Don’t miss a visit to Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, Chile’s oldest national park, where you can marvel at the stunning Petrohué Falls and the majestic Osorno Volcano.

Torres del Paine National Park

 Today marks the start of your Patagonian adventure! Catch a flight to Punta Arenas and transfer to Explora Patagonia, occupying arguably the best spot in Torres del Paine National Park. 

Arrive just in time for dinner, settle in and prepare for the exciting explorations that await.

10-12

Torres del Paine National Park

Torres del Paine National Park is one of the most impressive landscapes on earth. Prepare to be left in awe by its rugged mountainscapes, glaciers, forests, and turquoise-coloured lagoons. It is also home to a remarkable array of wildlife including condors, guanacos and the elusive puma.

You will have three full days to explore the natural wonders of the park with an extensive menu of excursions offered at the lodge. Your guide will fill you in on the different activities and help you pick the ones that match your interests. 

Lace up your hiking boots and discover the park’s famous hiking trails and scenic viewpoints, conquer high mountain ascents, explore on horseback with gauchos, go wildlife watching, or hop on a boat for a glacier navigation whilst cruising past floating icebergs. Back at the property, you can soothe achy limbs at the spa, complete with an indoor swimming pool and bubbling hot tubs.

Santiago

After breakfast, head to Punta Arenas airport for your flight to Santiago. Upon arrival in Santiago, a private transfer will take you to your hotel in the city.

Valparaíso

After breakfast, your private English-speaking guide will whisk you away for a full-day tour of Valparaíso, a vibrant port city and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Valparaíso, with its bohemian charm, is known for winding streets, steep funiculars, and colourful clifftop homes. Just 1.5 hours from Santiago, this city is brimming with history. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the city’s stunning beauty, unique architecture, and hidden gems. Savour lunch at a top-rated restaurant beloved by Chilean food critics. End your tour with breathtaking views from one of Valparaíso’s best viewpoints.

Finally, you’ll be transported to Santiago airport to catch your international flight home.
