This moderate 6-day lodge-to-lodge hiking trip in Torres del Paine combines moderate hiking with nights in comfortable hotels and estancias. In addition to enjoying some lesser known trails, it includes the classic hike to the base of the Towers, quiet picnics by remote waterfalls and the fabulous hike to the top of the Sierra del Toro.
Arrive into Puerto Natales and enjoy a spectacular drive alongside the turquoise waters of Lago Sarmiento. Stroll along the lakeshore in beautiful and remote settings of Torres del Paine in the evening.
Start your hiking along the shores of Laguna Verde through some ancient southern beech forests and through grassy valleys towards the Sierra del Toro. Enjoy incredible far reaching views on your way.
Walk along the shores of Lago Grey Beach and admire turquoise icebergs floating in the lake. Set off into the iceberg-choked lake towards the walls of the spectacular Grey Glacier. Finally, hike up to a stunning viewpoint of the entire western side of the park.
Enjoy a full day of hiking across the heart of the park. Revel in the beauty of incredibly diverse scenery including verdant green valleys, ancient beech forests, azure lakes, cascading waterfalls and wide-open plains.
Begin a challenging hike crossing mountain trails, rivers and valleys and finally clamber up glacial moraine. Lunch in the shadow of enormous granite peaks watching the icebergs drift across a glacial pool of water.
After a leisurely breakfast transfer to Puerto Natales.
