Colchagua I

For wine and cycling afficionados Colchagua is another great place to use as a home base in central Chile. This area is often likened to California’s Napa Valley, and has a high concentration of toplevel wineries, many of them in close proximity.

Francis Mallman’s Fuegos de Apalta restaurant is in the valley as well, so foodies may rejoice. The mostly flat terrain, with some rolling hills, and little traffic make the Colchagua Valley the perfect place for long (or short) bike rides.
